Frequently asked questions
What level do I need to be?
B1 (Intermediate) or above. You need to be able to hold a basic conversation in English. If you're unsure, take the free CEFR assessment first.
What if I don't speak much in my first clinic?
If you don't speak at least 5 times during the session — for any reason — reply to your confirmation email and I'll refund your €27 in full. You keep everything. That's the guarantee.
How is this different from italki or Preply?

Can my company pay?

What if my level is too low?
Take the free assessment first. If you're A2 or below, I'll personally recommend the right starting point.
What happens if I miss a session?
Sessions are non-refundable but we'll send you the recording. If you know in advance you can't make it, let us know and we'll credit you for a future session.
Is it video or just audio?
Video on Zoom. You're encouraged to have your camera on, but it's not required. Coach Nigel will be on video throughout.
What topics do you cover?
Each week has a theme — presentations, meetings, small talk, interviews, etc. You'll receive the topic and a 2-minute prep exercise by email 24 hours before.
Can I get a receipt for my employer?
Yes. Stripe sends an automatic receipt to your email. Reply to your booking confirmation if you need an invoice with your company details.
